Ready to cook and full of traditional flavour, it's a firm favourite for home cooks who want an authentic taste of home.
To prepare Fresh Fufu (Akpu), bring a pot of water to the boil, then gradually stir in the fufu, mixing continuously until it forms a smooth, stretchy, lump-free dough. Cover and cook for a further 2-3 minutes over low heat, then mould into balls and serve warm alongside your favourite soup.
Store Fresh Fufu (Akpu) in the fridge if using within a few days, or keep it frozen for longer storage, thawing fully before cooking. Once prepared, leftover fufu should be covered and refrigerated, then reheated gently or eaten within 24 hours for the best taste and texture.
